Neowiz Announces Lies of P Sequel and DLC
Neowiz, the publisher of Lies of P, has recently shared exciting news for fans of this soulslike action-adventure. Following the game’s impressive success, selling over a million copies in under a month, the studio is now preparing to release a game update, hinting at the arrival of its first DLC, and confirming plans for a sequel.

The forthcoming patch, set to be released this month, promises “significant” changes to weapon and character balancing, as well as quality-of-life improvements to make the early stages of the game more accessible. Players can look forward to new customization options. A new outfit, Alidoro’s costume and mask, will be introduced, allowing gamers to further personalize their experience. Additionally, the upcoming update will enable players to equip glasses and hats separately, granting even greater flexibility in character customization.

The intriguing post-credits scene in Lies of P provides a subtle hint at future content. In this scene, the ruby shoes worn by Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz make an appearance, accompanied by the cryptic statement:
“When I return, I will find her. For sure. Another key of ours. Dorothy.” This enigmatic message has left players eager to uncover what lies ahead in the game’s universe.
In a recent director’s letter video, game director Jiwon Choi confirmed the team’s plans for both the upcoming DLC and the much-anticipated sequel to Lies of P. Choi emphasized that the development team is dedicating significant effort to brainstorming and exploring different aspects of these projects, highlighting their commitment to delivering exceptional content.
As an exciting teaser, Choi showcased two intriguing sketches hinting at what players can expect in the first DLC. Further details, including patch notes, will be revealed soon, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the opportunity to delve deeper into the immersive world of Lies of P.
