Natty Knocks Trailer Shows Nightmare on Elm Street Returning to the Big Screen

Vertical Entertainment has released the Natty Knocks trailer via Bloody Disgusting showcasing the horror film that will appease those fans looking for a classic slasher film. The film stars Nightmare on Elm Street‘s Robert Englund as the film follows the events taking place on Halloween Eve as ” a small-town babysitter and the kids she is looking after struggle to survive a serial killer named Abner Honeywell.”

Starring alongside Englund is is Charlotte Fountain-Jardim, Thomas Robie, Noen Perez, and Jason James Richter. The film was helmed by Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers director Dwight H. Little from a screenplay written by Benjamin Olson.

Speaking to Bloody Disgusting, Tony Piantedosi, Vertical SVP of Acquisitions said:

Natty Knocks immediately intrigued us given its collaboration of prolific horror icons who defined the genre for decades. The film is a testament to Dwight’s experience as a filmmaker, and we’re pleased that we were able to come on board for the project.”

The statement above sums it up pretty well as details remain under wraps, the film immediately garners the attention of classic horror fans due to its feel of 80s & 90s slashers. The film including Englund who is widely known for his iconic portrayal of Freddy Kreuger will have fans flocking to the film for a chance to see the legendary actor on screen again.

Little’s eye for horror is not to go unappreciated as he has had a hand in bringing a favorite of ours in the Michael Myers legacy. This will also be a second act for Englund and Little who worked on the Freddy Kreuger spinoff series Freddy’s Nightmares together.

Natty Knocks will be available in theaters and VOD on July 21, 2023.
