National Treasure: Edge of History Trailer Reveals The Next American History Adventure

Disney+ has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming series based on the National Treasure film franchise that starred Nicolas Cage & Justin Bartha. The new series coming to the streamer will be titled National Treasure: Edge of History. The new treasure hunt through American history is sure to lead to another fun adventure as we’ve seen in the film franchise before.

The series will star Lisette Alexis in the lead role and will be joined by Jacob Vargas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Zuri Reed, Jordan Rodrigues, Antonio Cipriano, Jake Austin Walker, and Lyndon Smith. Bartha will be reprising the role of Riley Poole that he played alongside Cage’s Ben Gates in the original film and sequel titled National Treasure: Book of Secrets.

Marianne and Cormac Wibberley scripted the pilot episode which will be helmed by Mira Nair. The series will be executive produced by Rick Muirragui who also serves as a writer on the series. Nair and the Wibberleys are also set to executive produce alongside Jerry Bruckheimer, Jon Turteltaub, Jonathan Littman, and KristieAnne Reed.

National Treasure will stream exclusively on Disney+. The series currently has no release date has been announced. Check out the teaser unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con below:
