Meet Cute Trailer Features Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson in A Film in Which They Are Destined for Each Other
Peacock has released the first trailer for the upcoming romantic comedy film titled Meet Cute. The sci-fi rom-com will see Kaley Cuoco‘s Sheila traveling through time as she tirelessly attempts to perfect her meet-cute with Pete Davidson‘s Gary. This is a formula that’s been explored many times over in many different genres but from the trailer, a rom-com is the perfect way to play with time as we see all the imperfections come and go time and time again as Cuoco works to get it right.
Peacock‘s synopsis of Meet Cute reads:
“When Sheila (Kaley Cuoco) and Gary (Pete Davidson) meet, it’s love at first sight – until we realize their magical date wasn’t fate at all. Sheila’s got a time machine, and they’ve been falling in love over and over again. But when the perfect night is never quite enough, Sheila travels to Gary’s past to change him into the perfect man.”
Alex Lehmann will direct from a script by Noga Pnueli, and Akiva Goldsman will produce alongside his Weed Road partners Gregory Lessans and Rachel Reznick as well as Santosh Govindaraju and Dan Reardon of Convergent Media. Starring alongside Cuoco and Davidson will be Deborah S. Craig, Sierra Fisk, Rock Kohli, Wesley Holloway, and Andrew Stevens Purdy.
Meet Cute will premiere on Peacock on September 21st, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
