Matt Kindt Interview – Board games Superb!

Matt Kindt is a highly acclaimed writer and artist, recognized for his contributions to the world of comics since 2003. With a remarkable list of achievements, which include winning the Harvey Award and being a New York Times Best-Selling author, Kindt has left an indelible mark on the industry.

Some of his notable works include MIND MGMT, BRZRKR (co-created with Keanu Reeves), Bang!, Eniac, and Pistolwhip. His most recent ventures have come from his imprint Flux House at Dark Horse Comics. This partnership has spawned such titles as Spy Superb, Hairball, Apache Delivery Service, and the upcoming series Subgenre. MIND MGMT has also spun out into a popular tabletop board game which is available now!

Kindt’s accomplishments have transcended language barriers, with his works being translated into French, Spanish, Italian, and German. Kindt has also turned his passion into a family affair as some of his work includes his wife and collaborator, Sharlene Kindt. Together, they have created various projects, notably their work on the acclaimed series “Dept H,” where Sharlene served as the colorist and artist.

We had the opportunity to speak with Kindt about his recent work through his Flux House imprint. Notably, the upcoming trade which collects the entire Hairball series in a one-of-a-kind flocked cover. Kindt also shares some insight on the upcoming series Subgenre that will be released this October. The multi-dimensional murder mystery sees Kindt teaming up with artist Wilfredo Torres and is the latest title coming from the Flux House imprint.
