Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Releasing in Fall 2023

PlayStation has revealed that the highly anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be coming to PlayStation 5 in the fall of 2023. The news follows leaks that noted the game was releasing during that very same release window. Looks like the leak had some truth to it as the developer has now confirmed the release date.

Insomniac Games creative director, Bryan Inhitar had a special message for fans in the PlayStation Blog Post, saying:

“What a year it’s been for PlayStation Studios; here at Insomniac Games we’ve been in absolute awe of the work of our peers. Congrats to everyone on a successful 2022… and here’s to next year being just as exciting as we continue to get Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ready for release next fall.”

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will pick up in the aftermath of the previously released Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales as the new spider-duo made up of Peter Parker and Miles Morales Spider-Man return to take on new enemies. Not much has been revealed about the sequel but the reveal trailer released in 2021 did give us a tease of Venom making an appearance.
