Marvel Reveals First Look at Star Wars: Mandalorian #1 Because This is the Way

Marvel Comics has revealed the first look at Star Wars: Mandalorian #1. The new series is set to kick off the saga of one of the most popular Star Wars entries of late. The upcoming eight-issue adaptation of the Disney+ original series will follow the series’ first season which introduces us to The Mandalorian bounty hunter, the character Baby Yoda/Grogu that would later take pop culture by storm, and will let readers relive the events that have led us to where we have last seen Din Djarin since having crossed paths with the Child. The mini-series will be penned by Rodney Barnes with art by Georges Jeanty.

Marvel‘s description of Star Wars: The Mandalorian reads:

“Relive the events and characters of Season 1… From the thrilling introduction of Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin to his unforgettable first encounter with the Child, these iconic STAR WARS moments will be brought to life in a brand-new way…”

In an interview with StarWars.com, Barnes said:

“The story of the Mandalorian checks so many boxes of the stuff I’m passionate about. I love Westerns, fantasy, science fiction, comedy, drama…it’s a dream gig for any writer. I’m just glad I was chosen for this assignment!”
