Marvel Releases Trailer for X-Men ’97 Along with March Release Date
The upcoming release of X-Men ’97 has sent waves of excitement through the fanbase, marking the return of the beloved mutants to the small screen. Set to premiere on Disney+ on March 20th, this sequel to the iconic X-Men: The Animated Series which ran from 1992-1997, the animated series picks up directly after the events of the series finale “Graduation Day.”
The trailer offers a glimpse into a world where the loss of Charles Xavier has left the mutants reeling, while humanity’s hostility towards them remains unchanged.


Drawing from the legacy of X-Men: The Animated Series, the new series promises to continue the captivating vibes that propelled the X-Men into mainstream popularity.
With an ensemble cast featuring familiar faces such as Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue, Beast, Jubilee, Storm, Wolverine, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Morph, Bishop and Magneto, voiced by Ray Chase, Jennifer Hale, Lenore Zann, George Buza, Holly Chou, Alison Sealy-Smith, Cal Dodd, AJ LoCascio, Adrian Hough, JP Karliak, Isaac Robinson-Smith, and Matthew Waterson respectively.
As the countdown to the premiere date begins, the trailer has stoked anticipation and nostalgia but did not explicitly reveal the challenges that await the X-Men.
However, the inclusion of intriguing details, such as a pregnant Jean and newer mutants, suggests that X-Men ’97 will delve into unexplored storylines alongside whatever major threat comes their way which surely will include the iconic Sentinels.
