Mario Candelaria Talks About His ‘One True Love’

Comic book creator Mario Candelaria is a creator who wears many hats. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York he now crafts stories while living in Philadelphia. He has poured his love and talent into comics but is also a comedic writer at heart and even dabbled with stand-up comedy both on stage and behind the curtain having written material for fellow comedians at times.

Mario has penned a slate of projects tailored for many different readers such as Ashes, Fog Line, and of course, Killchella at Scout Comics. His most recent venture has taken him to Kickstarter as he spins the tale of One True Love. The 90-page graphic novel follows a pair of East Coast mobsters that pulled off a heist and now are hoping to lay low.

This leads them to the home of an old friend in Hollywood Hills but as any good crime story goes, plans begin to fall apart and the greed and paranoia will take readers into a mastercraft of a story in the heart of 1969 Los Angeles.
