Mac Sabbath Brings A West Coast Snack to The Nile Theater

Geek Network had the opportunity to attend Mac Sabbath at The Nile Theater in downtown Mesa a few weeks ago. The experience is what you’d expect going to a Drive-Thru Metal show. The fast-paced music was enough to get the blood flowing through your veins as if you were indulging yourself and biting into your very first Big Mac. It was truly bringing you in this case an eargasm instead of a foodgasm.

From all the fast food puns and the extremely energetic and oddly charming Ronald Osbourne to the fast slashing guitar sounds from Slayer McCheese. The soothing sounds and voice coming from the drums of the Catburgler aka Glamburgler. And who can forget the dooming heavy sounds coming from the one and only terrifying Grimalice the bassist. Lastly, the cameos provided by other members (The McDonalds Moonman, The Lizard, and the loveable stickler known as the Employee of the Month) were a cherry on top of that McFlurry sundae you always wanted.

These DriveThru parodies may put an end to your fast food cravings, or who knows may leave you wanting more if you ever have an opportunity to check them out in a city near you, then do yourself a favor and stage dive into this Happy Meal of metal delight. Because who wouldn’t want to hear “Frying Pan” a pun of Iron Man by Black Sabbath, or “Super Size” a parody of Testify by 90’s grunge band Rage Against the Machine.” The list goes on and on.

The best way to find a show near you is by checking out their official website but be sure to check out their socials below to get a taste of the scene brought by the one and only Mac Sabbath.
