IF Trailer Brings A Heartwarming World You Full of Magical Friends

Ryan Reynolds has unveiled the first trailer for IF, John Krasinski‘s upcoming fantasy film. The story revolves around imaginary friends and explores what happens to them when children grow up and no longer believe in them.

Directed and written by Krasinski himself, IF follows the journey of a young girl who possesses the unique ability to see imaginary friends left behind by grown-up children who have forgotten about them. She teams up with Reynolds’ character to embark on a mission to save these forgotten companions by reigniting the memories of their adult creators.

The heartwarming and family-oriented film features a star-studded ensemble cast including Cailey Fleming, Fiona Shaw, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr., Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Maya Rudolph, Jon Stewart, Bobby Moynihan, Sam Rockwell, Sebastian Maniscalco, Christopher Meloni, Richard Jenkins, Awkwafina, and Steve Carell.

IF this hasn’t sold you yet, then possibly the idea of Reynolds and Krasinski working on a project together might sway you. This is not to mention that the film marks a reunion between Krasinski and Carell who worked together for many years in the beloved series, The Office.

IF is produced by Krasinski’s Sunday Night production company, alongside Allyson Seeger, Andrew Form, and others, IF is set to hit theaters on May 17, 2024. Check out the trailer below:
