Ice Age: Scrat Tales Trailer Teases Hilarious Shorts Featuring Our Favorite Sabre-Toothed Squirrel

Disney+ has released a trailer for Ice Age: Scrat Tales. The new series coming to the streamer will be made up of six shorts slated to release this April. The series will follow Scrat, the memorable saber-toothed squirrel from the Ice Age franchise. The shorts will all follow Scrat on a different adventure with Baby Scrat as they bond and fight over their uncontrollable love for acorns. Chris Wedge will lend his voice to Scrat. Wedge has voiced the character throughout the Ice Age films as well. Kari Wahlgren will lend their voice to Baby Scrat.

The series of shorts is produced by Anthony Nisi. Robert L. Baird and Andrew Millstein serve as executive producers. There will be six shorts in total. You can find their titles and descriptions below:

• “Nuts About You” – Directed by Michael Berardini and Donnie Long. Story by Michael Berardini.

“This short shows Scrat and Baby Scrat’s first meeting. Scrat finds joy in their new position as a parent. Until Baby Scrat sees their first acorn, that is.”

• “LoFi Scrat Beats to Sleep/Chill to” – Directed by Donnie Long and Matt Munn. Story by Donnie Long.

“Scrat uses percussion to create a lullaby for Baby Scrat to fall asleep to.”

• “X’s and Uh-O’s” – Directed by Donnie Long and Drew Winey. Story by James Young Jackson and Drew Winey.

“Scrat teaches Baby Scrat to plant The Acorn. But Baby Scrat ends up teaching Scrat a lesson.”

• “Nutty Reflections” – Directed by Donnie Long and Eric Prah. Story by Galen Tan Chu.

“Scrat and Baby Scrat chase The Acorn into a cave that is full of funhouse mirrors.”

• “Teeter Toddler” – Directed by Jeff Gabor and Donnie Long. Story by Galen Tan Chu.

“Scrat and Baby Scrat end up on opposite ends of a log held up by a single branch, antics ensue.”

• “Nut The End” – Directed by Lisa Allen Keane and Donnie Long. Story by Michael Thurmeier.

“The Acorn tumbles off a cliff leading Scrat and Baby Scrat to question whether they will be able to live in harmony.”
