Inspired by real events, the film will follow UK prime minister Winston Churchill and James Bond author Ian Fleming as they start their classified World War II combat organization. The efforts and unorthodox fighting methods introduced were said to change the course of the war against the Nazis and also is noted as a precursor for today’s Black Ops.

The film is set to be the biggest budget project on display at the American Film Market next week as the film’s original distribution plans through Bruckheimer’s first look deal at Paramount didn’t pan out after the studio opted to not distribute the film. Now the film will be up for sale during the Film Market next week with a home sure to be found.

Cavill recently made headlines after his announcement to return as the Man of Steel for the DCEU and also his announced departure as Geralt in Netflix‘s The Witcher which will see Liam Hemsworth take on the role beginning with 2023’s Season 4. He also reunites with Ritchie after having worked together on The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
