Mike Mignola’s Hellboy: Web of Wyrd Release Date Revealed

Mike Mignola’s Hellboy: Web of Wyrd Release Date Revealed

Mike Mignola‘s Hellboy: Web of Wyrd is an exciting addition to the lineup of games releasing this October. Based on the beloved comic series, this upcoming brawler is set to kick off the lineup of titles that month with its release on October 4th.

Announced at last year’s Game Awards, the game boasts an original story crafted by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola himself. The iconic character is brought to life by the late and great Lance Reddick who lent his voice to the titular character.

Web of Wyrd shines in its commitment to replicating the art style of the original comics. Players will be immersed in a world known as The Wyrd. Faced with supernatural threats and dangers at every turn. The primary objective for Hellboy and his allies from the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.) is to locate a missing member of their team. Their investigation leads them to the enigmatic Butterfly House, a location shrouded in mystery and likely housing dark secrets.

Web of Wyrd is a pure brawler experience that allows players to unleash Hellboy’s formidable fists in combat. Master the art of dodging and parrying incoming attacks, while making strategic use of Hellboy’s gun to keep your enemies at bay. Developer Upstream Arcade has also incorporated roguelike elements into the game which ups the replay value and provides new challenges with each playthrough for players.

Prepare to dive into the action-packed adventure when Web of Wyrd releases this October. Check out the release date reveal trailer below:
