New Gotham Knights Nightwing Trailer Features Variant Suits and Tons of Combat

Warner Bros. Games unveiled a new Gotham Knights Nightwing trailer during the Summer Game Fest presentation that featured an array of variant skins for the character as well as a ton of acrobatic combat putting all of the hero’s skills to use. The lengthy gameplay trailer showed a bulk of the character’s combat style, as well as the options players, will have as they traverse the map.

Warner Bros. Games’ description of Gotham Knights reads:

“A brand-new open world, third-person action RPG featuring the Batman Family as players step into the roles of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin, a new guard of trained DC Super Heroes who must rise up as the protectors of Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s death.

An expansive, criminal underworld has swept through the streets of Gotham, and it is now up to these new heroes to protect the city, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops and fear to its
criminals. Players must save Gotham from descent into chaos and reinvent themselves into their own version of the Dark Knight.”

The gameplay featured the classic look for Nightwing until we see the variant outfits that will be available as players collect components. One of the suits featured was a ninja-looking suit that should give players that extra little hype as they traverse the map.

Gotham Knights will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 25th, 2022. Check out the new trailer below:
