Goblin: The Wolf and the Well Marks the Return of the Beloved Fantasy Series From Dark Horse
Dark Horse Comics has announced a sequel to Eric Grissom and Will Perkins‘ fantastical tale, Goblin, where the theme of sacrifice takes center stage. Goblin:The Wolf and the Well delves into the question of what one would give up to protect the person they love.
After the events of Goblin, where Rikt faced a formidable foe, Grissom knew he wanted to challenge his protagonist with something even more daunting—the terrors of starting a new school. For Rikt, the fear of being alone becomes overwhelming after losing his parents. His anxiety intensifies when a mysterious witch reveals three prophecies, one of which threatens the life of his loyal companion, the wolf named Fish-breath.
As the first prophecies come true, Rikt finds solace in Ms. Evelyn, a compassionate human who offers them refuge at Underwood, a unique boarding school designed for monstrous beings and lost wolves. However, Rikt soon realizes that Underwood holds dark secrets, and he suspects that the other children may be in grave danger.
Assisted by a troll girl and a faun with a tendency for neurosis, Rikt embarks on a mission to unravel the mysteries concealed within Underwood’s ancient walls before confronting the horrors lurking in the depths of an old well.
Grissom and Perkins continue to captivate readers with their whimsical storytelling and breathtaking illustrations. Goblin: The Wolf and the Well promises an unforgettable journey filled with friendship, danger, and the enduring power of sacrifice. Join Rikt as he uncovers the hidden truths behind Underwood’s iron gates and discovers the true meaning of protecting those we hold dear.
