GlobalComix Continues to Build its Library with TKO Studios, Boom! Studios, and Image Comics Joining the Platform
GlobalComix has announced that they will be expanding their evergrowing library with the addition of titles from publishers TKO Studios, Boom! Studios, Archie Comics, TOKYOPOP, NBM Graphic Novels, Image Comics, and more. The new partnership vastly bolsters the lineup of indie comic titles on the platform with the inclusion of 3 powerhouse publishers that have delivered countless titles in a variety of genres to readers for years with some of the top comic creators involved.
TKO Studios brings titles such as Sara, Djeliya, Sentient, Savage Nights, The Banks, and Lonesome Days. The publisher has also seen 9 of its titles sit atop the Amazon #1 bestseller list and carries the additional appeal of possible film/TV adaptations through its exclusive deal with New Regency for its title catalog.
Boom! Studios is known by many readers for its hit titles such as Something is Killing the Children, BRZRKR, Power Rangers, and Magic: The Gathering. With a standout lineup of superstar creators all having a hand in these titles and more from the publisher, this is a phenomenal inclusion to the library of titles on the platform.
Image Comics has delivered some of the most iconic series in indie comics to date with the long-celebrated series Saga, the Robert Kirkman series The Walking Dead that spawned the everlasting TV series universe, and Invincible, which now sits as one of Prime Videos‘ highest-rated animated series.
Christopher Carter, CEO of GlobalComix, shares that they have waited for this moment for years, saying:
“I have waited for this moment for years. Not only are we finally about to change the landscape of digital comics publishing entirely, but we are also fortunate enough to do it together with a vibrant community of creators from both popular web and indie comics; and also many of the most venerable and well respected publishers in the entire world [of comics].
We will be bringing more comics to even more readers, worldwide, and doing so in a fiscally accessible way. With this, we’re paving the way for a vibrant and thriving ecosystem in which creators and publishers can make a sustainable living, doing exactly what they love, and that is one of the major reasons for why we’re doing what we do.“
With the continued support of creators, followers, and the comics community, GlobalComix continues to work its way to providing readers with a library of over 40k titles.
