Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for the highly-anticipated Knives Out sequel titled Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The film is set to debut at the Toronto International Film Festival which will see Daniel Craig reprise his role as the detective Benoit Blanc.
The film looks to build on the immense success that the first film saw as the whodunnit mystery film saw Craig’s Blanc solve a mystery hiding within the estate of a wealthy family who all had much to gain from a death in the family. The new adventure takes Blanc to a private island owned by a tech billionaire that will allow Blanc to unravel yet another mystery.

Netflix‘s synopsis of Glass Onion reads:
“In the follow up to Rian Johnson’s KNIVES OUT, Detective Benoit Blanc travels to Greece to peel back the layers of a mystery involving a new cast of colorful suspects.”
Much like its predecessor, director Rian Johnson has assembled another ensemble cast to star alongside Craig that includes Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr. Jessica Henwick, Janelle Monáe, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, Ethan Hawke, and Dave Bautista. Johnson also penned the sequel with frequent production partner Ram Bergman.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will be available to stream on Netflix on December 23rd, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
