Gavin Munn Talks About Being the Rising Star of The Righteous Gemstones

Gavin Munn is the young up-and-coming star of the hit Max original series The Righteous Gemstones. Gavin has been a growing part of the hit series and has also starred in the hit Netflix original series Raising Dion. As he gets ready for his role as Aiden in the upcoming comedy film Dear Santa, he joined us to talk about his time on The Righteous Gemstones and the bright future awaiting him.

For those unfamiliar with The Righteous Gemstones, it follows a famous multigenerational televangelist family. The Gemstone family is led by John Goodman‘s Eli who has brought success to their megachurch and respect to the family name. With Eli attempting to keep their family namesake in place for multiple generations, it will eventually fall on his children who are portrayed by Danny McBride, Adam Devine, Edi Patterson, Skyler Gisondo, and the youngest of the family played by Gavin.

Gavin will next be seen in the feature film Dear Santa in which he will star alongside Jack Black in the Farrelly Brothers film who previously worked with Black on Shallow Hal. The film will follow a young boy who writes his yearly note to Santa and mistakenly sends his letter to Satan. An honest mistake. The film looks to be geared to be a comedy film that should highlight Black’s strengths and showcase Munn’s growing talent.
