Masaaki Ninomiya’s Horror Manga Gannibal Kickstarted by ABLAZE for English Print

ABLAZE is launching a Kickstarter campaign to bring Masaaki Ninomiya‘s acclaimed modern horror manga GANNIBAL to English-speaking audiences. This bestselling 13-volume series has gained international popularity and has been translated into various countries including France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Brazil, Korea, and Thailand. The Kickstarter campaign will also offer limited edition hardcovers exclusively for those looking to collect a very special version of the iconic series.

GANNIBAL is a spine-chilling thriller full of tension and suspense. Its popularity led to the creation of a live-action TV series, directed by Shinzo Katayama in 2022. The seven-episode live-action series on Disney+/Hulu received positive reviews and showcased an exceptional cast including Yuya Yagira, Riho Yoshioka, Kokone Shimizu, Yutaro Nakamura, Mitsuo Yoshihara, Sho Kasamatsu, Rairu Sugita, and Takato Yonemoto.

The series revolves around Daigo Agawa, a police officer assigned to the remote mountain village of Kuge. As he investigates the suspicious death of an elderly woman, he uncovers a horrifying secret: the villagers are consuming human flesh.

Fans of horror and manga can now grab the latest version of this popular manga, now available in English for the first time. Head over to Kickstarter to sign up for the pre-launch and be notified when the campaign launches.
