According to Deadline, Studios Extraordinaires from Sweden has entered into a partnership with Fallen Leaf Studios to develop film and TV versions of the sci-fi horror game. The collaboration aims to bring the tense and immersive experience of Fort Solis to the big and small screens.

In Fort Solis, players assume the role of engineer Jack Leary, who finds himself trapped in an emergency situation on a desolate Martian mining base. As the story progresses, the fate of the base’s crew becomes increasingly mysterious, unraveling a web of suspense and intrigue.

Studios Extraordinaires co-founders André Hedetoft and Andreas Troedsson expressed their excitement about the project, stating:

“Fort Solis is the kind of clever science-fiction that blurs the line between imagination and reality. The characters’ unique perspectives and depth, combined with the gripping narrative and cinematic setting, offer an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to bring this enthralling tale and its stellar cast to life against the backdrop of the Martian frontier.”

Fallen Leaf CEO Piotr Kurkowski hailed the film and TV production deal as a significant milestone for the IP. He added:
