First Look at Specs #2 Takes Readers Deeper into the Mysterious New Series

Boom! Studios has revealed the first look at Specs #2. The hit new series has had fans buzzing over the mysterious tale being spun by the superstar creators. The premiere issue revealed a tale of warning with writer David M. Booher penning the series and artist Chris Shehan by his side providing the haunting imagery within the series that delivered a perfect tone for the story being told by Booher that warns of the dangerous consequences of wishes. The stellar creative team is rounded off with colors by Roman Stevens and letters by Jim Campbell.

The series is jam-packed with the feel fans of R.L. Stine‘s Goosebumps and the Twilight Zone delivered to us and is sure to continue making its mark with its unique vision unfolding as each issue releases. Specs #2 will feature main cover art by artist Skylar Partridge with a variant cover by David Talaski.

Boom! Studio‘s description of Specs #2 reads:

“Given their unwillingness to acknowledge the dangerous consequences of their recent wish, what does this mean for their victim, and what do they do with the glasses moving forward? Kenny fears that all of this may affect his and Ted’s relationship… and wonders if they’ll truly remain just “friends.”

Specs #2 will be available at your favorite local comic shop and digitally on December 14, 2022.
