First Look at Dark Ride #1 Shows the Horrors That Await Readers that Dare to Enter the Scariest Place on Earth

Skybound Entertainment has revealed the first look at the upcoming series titled Dark Ride. The horror-themed comic series combines the scariest genre on Earth with the scariest place on Earth as writer Joshua Williamson, artist Andrei Bressan, and colorist Adriano Lucas introduce us to the theme park aptly named Devil Land.

Skybound‘s description of Dark Ride reads:

“Devil Land has been the world’s premiere horror-themed amusement park for over 50 years, home to the scariest ride ever created – The Devil’s Due. But when lifelong fan Owen Seasons begins his first day on the job, he will discover the true horrors happening behind the scenes, the truth about the park’s reclusive creator Arthur Dante and that the job of his dreams might just be a living nightmare.”

The series will also feature a series of covers that include a main cover by series artist Bressan alongside series colorist Lucas. Variant covers will also be featured with art by Martin Morazzo, Lucas, Sweeney Boo, and the poster variant by Trish Forstner and Tony Fleecs. Fleecs is also art directing the homage poster variant program that will provide a special variant cover for the first four issues of Dark Ride.

Dark Ride #1 will be available at your favorite local comic shop and digitally on October 5th, 2022. Check out the preview below:
