Feral Coming to Image Comics From Superstar Creators Behind Stray Dogs

The creative team behind the critically acclaimed series Stray Dogs, Tony Fleecs and Trish Forstner, are reuniting to bring you Feral to Image Comics. Get ready for a chilling new series that combines elements of horror, survival, and feline companionship.

In Feral, readers will embark on a gripping journey alongside Elsie, Lord Fluffy Britches, and Patch, three indoor cats who find themselves stranded in the treacherous outdoors during a nightmarish rabies outbreak.

With their human guardians missing, the cats must rely on their instincts and wit to navigate a forest teeming with rabid creatures. Their goal: to return home safely before falling victim to the relentless threat chasing them. The stakes are high, and survival is paramount. Don’t get bit. Don’t get scratched. Stay vigilant… or risk becoming… FERAL.

While Stray Dogs captivated audiences with its unique blend of “Lady and the Tramp meets The Silence of the Lambs,” Feral takes a different approach. Fleecs and Forstner wanted to push the boundaries and explore new territory. With this series, they delve into the terror of wide-open spaces and confront their characters with an external threat: a frightening infection.

The creative duo emphasized that building rich, compelling characters remains at the core of Feral. The cats in this series are not only resilient but also harbor deep emotions and grudges. They remember everything, making their quest for survival all the more compelling.

“We are really trying to give the readers a story to remember,” said Trish Forstner. “We’re pushing the boundaries of what we already established in our little niche of storytelling.”

Feral promises page-turning surprises at every corner, taking readers on a thrilling ride where cat instincts clash with the elements of a zombie outbreak. The tension is palpable, and the excitement is guaranteed in the new series.

Feral #1 will arrive at your local comic book shops on Wednesday, March 27.
