Falling in Love on the Path to Hell: A New Action-Packed Ongoing Series Coming to Image Comics
Bestselling writer Gerry Duggan, known for his work on titles such as Deadpool and X-Men, has teamed up with Garry Brown for an all-new, ongoing series titled Falling in Love on the Path to Hell.
This highly anticipated series was first announced with an exclusive ashcan giveaway to retailers at Emerald City Comic Con. The gunslinging tale of love and revenge is set to launch in June from Image Comics.

The debut issue of Falling in Love on the Path to Hell will feature a massive extra-length story that plunges readers straight into the heart of the action. Duggan expressed their inspiration, citing influences from samurai films, grindhouse, westerns, Tarantino, Lone Wolf & Cub, and a myriad of supernatural comic books.
He stated: “This romance is our love letter to creator-owned comics—it’s a story we can only tell at Image Comics.” Artist Garry Brown leads a formidable team, with Duggan recognizing the strength of their collaboration.
He emphasized the breathtaking and violent nature of the first issue, promising that each subsequent installment will surpass its predecessor in magnificence. Duggan also hinted at the introduction of compelling new characters, expressing a long-term vision for the series with the goal of a comprehensive omnibus in the future.

Brown, succinct in his response, simply echoed Duggan’s sentiments. The series promises a captivating blend of samurai and gunslinger themes, juxtaposed against a backdrop of purgatory ruled by a ruthless and nightmarish society of damned warriors.
Falling in Love on the Path to Hell #1 is slated for release at your favorite local comic book shops on Wednesday, June 5th, delivering a thrilling combination of action, suspense, and romance.
