Directive 8020: The Next Dark Pictures Entry Will Be A Sci-Fi Horror Game
Supermassive Games has unveiled the next entry in their anthology series and it will be a sci-fi horror game titled Directive 8020. The newest entry, The Devil In Me is set to arrive tomorrow and the studio is looking ahead to season 2 which will all begin with the premiere of Directive 8020.
The trailer comes from GameTrailers who dropped the teaser as it was shown off at the end of The Devil In Me which has become customary throughout the Dark Pictures anthology to tease the next entry when finishing the game. This all stems from Destructoid’s report. The trailer teases a transmission from a vessel and of course, it being a horror game, things obviously did not go right. A fun fact provided by Destructoid is that Directive 8020 is a real directive from NASA which they note is issued for Biological contamination control for outbound and inbound planetary spacecraft”.
This should get speculations going but we really won’t know anything concrete until Supermassive Games drops more details on the game. In the meantime, we will have our hands full with the epic season one finale The Devil In Me which will be available tomorrow on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
