Dark Harvest Trailer: David Slade Brings Sawtooth Jack to Digital This October
MGM has recently unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming horror film, Dark Harvest. Set to be released digitally on Friday, October 13, just in time for Halloween, the film is an adaptation of the book of the same name.
Dark Harvest takes place in a small town where a sinister entity named Sawtooth Jack emerges from the cornfields every Halloween, leaving a trail of terror in his wake. To put an end to the haunting, the cursed town enlists a group of young individuals who must eliminate Sawtooth Jack before the stroke of midnight.
However, the task proves to be challenging as the town’s residents not only have to confront the malevolent force but also contend with each other.
Directed by David Slade, known for his work on Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, and written by Michael Gilio, the film features a talented cast including Casey Likes, E’myri Crutchfield, Jeremy Davies, Elizabeth Reaser, and Luke Kirby.
Initially scheduled for a 2021 release, Dark Harvest faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are a number of horror films around the Halloween season. Due to this reason, Dark Harvest will forego a theatrical release and make its debut on digital platforms.
Dark Harvest will arrive on digital platforms on October 13, 2023. Check out the trailer below:
