Count Crowley: Mediocre Midnight Monster Hunter Brings Back Our Favorite Monster Hunter for A Third Volume

Dark Horse Comics has an exciting announcement for fans of Count Crowley. The highly talented team of David Dastmalchian, Lukas Ketner, Lauren Affe, and Frank Cvetkovic is returning with Count Crowley: Mediocre Midnight Monster Hunter, the third volume in the series.

Ketner provides the main cover art, and the remarkable Francesco Francavilla delivers a variant cover for the first issue, fans can look forward to chilling variants for each upcoming issue. This four-part miniseries is bound to satisfy fan’s craving for monster-hunting action along with thrills and chills.

In the latest installment, Jerri Bartman finds herself in a state of shock and depression. What should have been a victorious moment—a dead werewolf—now weighs heavily on her heart, as it turns out to be her friend. Adding to her distress, the return of her predecessor does little to provide solace. To make matters worse, the town of Beloit – where Jerri resides – is plagued by a ghoulish child-snatcher. It’s a holy Halloween for Count Crowley, and things are about to get truly batty!

Series creator David Dastmalchian expresses his anticipation for readers to delve into Volume 3 of the Count Crowley saga, eagerly awaiting their reaction to the blood-soaked and guts-filled pages. Drawing inspiration from gore horror films in the vein of Stuart Gordon and Frank Henenlotter, as well as the unsettling atmosphere of the notorious “Abduction Panic” of the 1980s Midwest, Dastmalchian has taken Jerri’s journey to new heights of horror.

Count Crowley: Mediocre Midnight Monster Hunter #1 will be available at your favorite local comic shop and digitally on November 8, 2023. Check out the covers revealed below:
