Code: To Jin Yong Trailer Reveals An Open-World Martial Arts Game Powered By Unreal Engine 5
Tencent Games and LightSpeed Studio announced a new game during the annual Spark 2022 conference titled Code: To Jin Yong. The new title is set to bring an open-world title adapted from wuxia literature and powered by Unreal Engine 5.
The trailer description reads:
“Code: To Jin Yong is adapted from the acclaimed series of martial arts novels by famed novelist Jin Yong. As the first Unreal Engine 5 open-world game starring the legendary heroes of the Jin Yong pugilistic world”
wuxia is a genre of fantasy martial arts and the novels that serve as inspiration for Code: To Jin Yong were created by author Jin Yong. The acclaimed author has been popular in China since the 50s and the game will feature heroes from his novels and will be powered by Unreal 5 to create the physics of the unique martial arts combat.
Code: To Jin Yong will be available globally in the near future as noted in the press release but no official release date was given. Check out the trailer below:
