Chloe Bennet Cast in Dave Season 3 at FXX
FXX‘s upcoming season 3 of Dave has added Agent of Shield‘s Chloe Bennet to its cast. Bennet will join Dave Burd in the series in a recurring role with Variety reporting that Benne will see a good amount of screen time with her character seeing a multi-episode arc. The FXX series Dave follows Burd’s life and career who is well known under the name Lil Dicky. The series shines a light on his attempts to rise into stardom in hip hop.
The full series description reads:
“The series stars a fictionalized version of Lil Dicky and is centered on a suburban neurotic man in his late twenties who has convinced himself that he’s destined to be one of the best rappers of all time. Now he must convince his closest friends, because with their help, he might actually convince the world.”
Bennet and Burd will be joined by fellow cast members GaTa, Benny Blanco, Taylor Misiak, Andrew Santino, Travis “Taco” Bennett, and Christine Ko. The series was co-created by Burd and Jeff Schaffer. The series is executive produced by Kevin Hart, Saladin K. Patterson, Ben Sinclair, Luvh Rakhe, Scooter Braun, Greg Mottola, Marty Bowen, Mike Hertz, James Shin, and Scott Manson.
Bennet became a beloved character during her eight years portraying Daisy Johnson on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which served as a spinoff of Clark Gregg‘s character Agent Coulson first introduced in Iron Man.
Dave Season 3 does not currently have a release date. Stay tuned as more information becomes available.
