Cabinet of Curiosities Trailer Reveals Guillermo del Toro’s Horror Anthology Series
Netflix has released a trailer for Guillermo del Toro‘s horror anthology series Cabinet of Curiosities. The creepy trailer displays some impressive visuals from the next project coming from del Toro. The trailer teases a creepy haunted house, monsters, cursed objects, and much more in eight stories that will be told throughout the series.
The trailer’s brief description reads:
“The maestro of horror – Guillermo Del Toro – presents 8 blood-curdling tales of horror. This anthology of sinister stories is told by some of today’s most revered horror creators, including the directors of The Babadook, Splice, Mandy, and many more.”
The anthology series also boasts an ensemble cast that includes Rupert Grint, Essie Davis, Luke Roberts, Andrew Lincoln, F. Murray Abraham, Glynn Turman, Ben Barnes, Elpidia Carrillo, Hannah Galway, Crispin Glover, Demetrius Grosse, David Hewlett, Tim Blake Nelson, Sebastian Roché, Peter Weller, Eric André, Sofia Boutella, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Kate Micucci, and Charlyne Yi.
Cabinet of Curiosities will be helmed by Panos Cosmatos, David Prior, Vincenzo Natali, Jennifer Kent, Keith Thomas, Catherine Hardwicke, and Ana Lily Amirpour. With eight stories to be told and only seven directors listed, it’s possible one of them will helm two episodes, or possibly del Toro helmed one himself. del Toro will produce the series alongside J. Miles Dale and Gary Ungar.
Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities will premiere exclusively on Netflix sometime in 2022. Check out the new teaser trailer below:
