Bloodrik: Image Comics’ Upcoming Series Will Leave You Hungry For More

Bloodrik is an upcoming three-issue miniseries by Andrew Krahnke, the talented creative force behind Outrunners and Tartarus. Readers will be taken on a gripping adventure set to launch in December from Image Comics. The series brings an action-packed journey through a brutal landscape, where violence reigns and Bloodrik’s true nature unfolds in all its primal glory.

Bloodrik

The story begins with Bloodrik, who, after facing nothing but failure in his usual hunting grounds, ventures into uncharted woods in a desperate attempt to satiate his stomach and mend his wounded ego. Little does he know that this decision will set him on a path filled with madness, violence, and a chilling thirst for blood.

Krahnke, the mastermind behind Bloodrik, shared his inspiration for the comic: “I came up with the rough idea for this comic in about ten minutes, after I sketched Bloodrik for the first time. I knew I wanted it to be about a hulking woodsman making his way across a brutal landscape looking for food. Seemed like a simple enough idea.”

However, as the years went by, Bloodrik evolved into a profound exploration of self-perception and the perils that arise when we let our preconceived notions dictate our view of the world. Krahnke’s dedication and creative energy are evident on every page of this meticulously crafted work.

From its stunning artwork to its captivating storyline that spawned from the simplest of necessities, Bloodrik promises to leave readers hungry for more.

Bloodrik #1 will be available at your favorite local comic shop and digitally on December 6, 2023. Check out the preview below:
