Battle Royale Rumbleverse Slams Its Way To Consoles and PC This August
Epic Games and Iron Galaxy Studios have released a new trailer for the pro-wrestling battle royale titled Rumbleverse. The upcoming game is set to slam its way to consoles and PC this August after a short delay from its previous release in February.
Rumbleverse has seen various successful technical tests since it was announced at The Game Awards 2021 and even with a slight delay, the free-to-play battle royale looks to swap out building and shooting for a good old-fashioned brawl. Players will be able to use iconic wrestling moves such as suplexes and clotheslines to take out their competition.
The weapons found in the game are traditional to what you see in pro wrestling with steel chairs and other melee weapons available. Although there may not be any turnbuckles to climb, players will be able to climb structures and leap from building to building. The game will support cross-play and cross-progression between consoles and PC.
Rumbleverse will release on August 11th, 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the launch date trailer below:
