Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition – Hardcover Edition Will Include Brand New Story From Original Creative Team
DC Comics has announced that the upcoming Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition is set to include a brand-new story within the pages of the bestselling series’ hardcover release. The reprinting of one of the most famous Batman stories has seen itself revitalized many times over but with a new story from the original creative team of Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee, and Alex Sinclair, the five-page story is sure to be a more than intriguing addition to an already bestselling series for the publisher.
DC Comics‘ summary of the new story featured reads:
“Ever wondered exactly what happened after Batman: Hush ended 20 years ago? This 20th Anniversary Edition provides the first clues to Hush’s fate on that dark night. An all-new story from the original creative team of Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee, Scott Williams, Alex Sinclair, and Richard Starkings!“
The hardcover edition will collect Batman #608-Batman #619 and also include a story from Wizard Magazine #0. The hardcover edition also includes sketches, character designs, altered art, and annotations by Lee.
The collected issues tell the story of an infected Gotham City that sees all of Batman’s enemies emerge, sending the Dark Knight’s life into utter chaos. What nobody knows is that all of these are pieces of a puzzle orchestrated by the villain Hush as he plays his game of revenge against Bruce Wayne. It will take much more than the mind of the world’s greatest detective to solve this mystery as Batman sees himself pushed beyond his limits.
Batman: Hush 20th Anniversay Edition will be available at your favorite local comic shops and other retailers on October 18th, 2022. Check out the cover for the hardcover edition below:
