Alice in Borderland Season 2 Trailer Takes Viewers Deeper Into the Rabbit Hole
Netflix revealed the first trailer for Alice in Borderland season 2. As the stakes get higher for the players, viewers will be looking to have their questions answered after the season 1 cliffhanger finale. The series is adapted from the popular manga series written and illustrated by Haro Aso and tells the story of randomly selected citizens of Tokyo who are taken to a world known as Borderland. There is where they must compete in deadly games as they fight for not only their lives but also their freedom.
The series is led by Ryōhei Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Yuzuha Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) as they take themselves further into the mystery of this Borderland. They will be joined by Shuntarō Chishiya (Nijirō Murakami) and Hikari Kuina (Aya Asahina) who were also survivors of the first season.
After a special broadcast revealed that a former executive of the beach in Borderlands is in fact one of the game masters, and the remaining survivors entering the next stage of the games would continue with what seems to be the most difficult and dangerous games yet, the stakes could not be any higher for our remaining players. A nice note in the trailer revealed that we may see ourselves getting a deeper look at our character’s pasts but of course, the one thing on all viewer’s minds is what questions will be answered and what new questions will arise.
Also returning in season 2 will be Sho Aoyagi and Dori Sakurado who will be joined by new cast members including Tsuyoshi Abe, Tomohisa Yamashita, Yuri Tsunematsu Isomura Hayato, Maiguma Katsuya, Ayaka Miyoshi, Dori Sakurada, Aya Asahina, Yuri Tsunematsu, Yutaro Watanabe, Yuki Morinaga, Keita Machida, Hayato Isomura, Kai Inowaki, Katsuya Maikuma, Honami Sato, Chihiro Yamamoto, Nobuaki Kaneko, Tsuyoshi Abe, and Riisa Naka.
