Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake Trailer Gives Us A Magical Look At the Spin-Off Series

San Diego Comic-Con attendees were treated to the first Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake trailer which takes us on the next adventure in the 10-episode spin-off series. Adventure Time was an absolute success and is still one of the most beloved animated series to this day. We have followed Finn and Jake (voiced by Jeremy Shada and John DiMaggio) for years now and now the spotlight is shifting to Fionna and Cake who are their female counterparts.

Fionna will come to life thanks to the talents of Madeleine Martin with Cake by her side and being voiced by the talented Roz Ryan. We will have some familiar faces returning such as Tom Kenny‘s Ice King as we see Fionna and Cake begin their numerous adventures that will have us follow along as they grow their friendship with one another.

Fionna and Cake saw life from an animator on the original series who shared the artwork with the internet and the positive reception of the female counterparts led to them debuting in the third season of Adventure Time. They had recurring appearances all the way through the final season and HBO confirmed that the pair would be getting their own series that to everyone’s hopes, will run for years as we saw for Finn and Jake.

Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake will premiere exclusively on Max on August 31, 2023.
