28 Days Later Sequel in the Works with Possibly Trilogy Coming From Danny Boyle and Alex Garland

More than twenty years after its initial release, 28 Days Later is poised for a long-awaited sequel. According to THR, the original film’s director, Danny Boyle, and co-writer Alex Garland are joining forces once again to create 28 Years Later. With the potential of it evolving into a trilogy.

The franchise has since expanded into various comic book adaptations, even speculation about a sequel, potentially named 28 Months Later, circulated in 2015.
