What We Do in the Shadows To End With Season 6
What We Do in the Shadows will conclude with its upcoming sixth season. FX recently delivered the news, solidifying the end of this beloved series. Since its debut in 2019, this adaptation of the 2014 film has entertained audiences with the lives of Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja, and Colin, along with their human familiar Guillermo and the Vampiric Counsel envoy, The Guide.

Throughout its five seasons, What We Do in the Shadows has garnered acclaim, securing multiple Emmy nominations and winning a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2022. Notably, Season 5 is currently in the running for Best Comedy Series at the upcoming Critics Choice Television Awards in January.
The film hailed from the creative minds of Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi and the series saw its cast include the talents of Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Kayvan Novak, Mark Prosch, and Harvey Guillén.
The conclusion of Season 5 in August delved into Guillermo’s struggle with his newfound vampiric attributes and Laszlo’s chilling experiments. As fans prepare for the final season, they can expect a compelling end to the enthralling tale of these vampires navigating life in New York.

The series still had plenty of life left in it but it’s rare to see a series choose its own end and as the years have gone by, the outstanding performances of the cast have undoubtedly won many of us over.
We will begrudgingly welcome the series going out strong on its own terms with a proper ending rather than seeing the fate that has fallen on some beloved series that deserved a true ending, never allowing fans a proper farewell.
What We Do In The Shadows Season 6 will arrive on FX and Hulu in 2024.
