Venom: Lethal Protector II – Venom Faces Doom as Venom Co-Creator Returns to the World of Symbiotes Again

Marvel has announced that the Lethal Protector will return once again as he faces Doom in Venom: Lethal Protector II. Venom co-creator David Michelinie is back in the world of Symbiotes after his grand return to the hero’s early days and the second round will be more lethal and more badass than ever before in the new five-issue miniseries. 

Since his epic run on Amazing Spider-Man alongside legendary creator Todd McFarlane, Michelinie know the iconic Spider-Man universe’s antihero better than anyone and is ready to take Venom into another adventure taking on an iconic villain unlike any other alongside artist Farid Karami. 

Marvel’s description of Lethal Protector II reads: 

“Swinging from the streets of NYC to the kingdom of Latveria, Eddie Brock is challenged like never before! What (or WHO) will Venom need to overcome the fiercest foe in the Marvel U? One thing’s for certain, this monster’s bringing the mayhem!”

“One of the happiest parts of my career was when I was originating and developing Venom,” Michelinie said. “So returning to that era is like having my own time machine. And to put Venom up against Doctor Doom, my favorite villain…sweet icing on the cake!”

Venom: Lethal Protector II #1 arrives at your favorite comic shop and digitally on March 29, 2023.
