The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live Teaser Trailer Revealed at NYCC

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is set to focus on Rick, played by Andrew Lincoln, and Michonne, portrayed by Danai Gurira. The new series will delve into their individual journeys as they navigate the ominous events surrounding Rick after he exited the flagship series.

At San Diego Comic-Con, fans were treated to a glimpse of what’s to come with a teaser trailer and the official unveiling of the show’s title. Previously referred to as The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne, the teaser primarily spotlighted Michonne and her emotional journey following the revelation that Rick is still alive. We can expect both Rick and Michonne to eventually reunite with each other throughout the series and hopefully have some questions answered about the mysterious faction that took Rick away from Alexandria.

The latest announcement at New York Comic Con confirms the return of Pollyanna McIntosh as Jadis, the character who was last seen boarding a helicopter with Rick in season 9. Additionally, Terry O’Quinn will be joining the cast as Beale, while Matt Jeffries takes on the character Nat. They join the previously announced Lesley-Ann Brandt, who will portray Pearl in the spinoff.

During New York Comic Con, it was revealed that The Ones Who Live is scheduled to premiere in February 2024. The series is surrounded by questions, but seeing Rick Grimes back on screen is what many fans of TWD have been vying for. We are all excited to see what unravels in this entry into TWD universe.
