Enter The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos With the Collected Edition In Spring 2024
This hit genre-bending horror series The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos has immersed readers in a captivating tale of teenage mad scientist Christopher Chaos and is now returning in a collected edition with The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos Volume 1.
Written by Tate Brombal, based on an idea by James Tynion IV, and illustrated by Isaac Goodhart, this gripping series combines horror, science fiction, coming-of-age, and LGBTQ+ themes in one of the most intriguing universes and protagonists we have seen in comics this year.
In the first volume, readers will dive into Christopher’s extraordinary world as his brilliant mind sets him apart from his peers. But these unique abilities also bring tremendous challenges, amplifying his feelings of loneliness and guilt. Everything changes when he discovers that the cute boy he’s been intrigued by is actually a dangerous creature. Suddenly, Christopher finds himself embroiled in a dangerous world of monsters, heroes, and a relentless cult of hunters.
The paperback collection of The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos will include issues #1-6 of the series, showcasing the words and illustrations of Brombal & and Goodhart along with colors by Miquel Muerto and lettering by Aditya Bidikar.
It will also feature a cover gallery with art by renowned artists such as Phil Jimenez, Nick Robles, Fábio Moon, and others. Additionally, the collected edition will include a sketchbook section.
The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos Volume 1 will be available everywhere books are sold on May 21, 2024, and in your favorite local comic shops on May 22, 2024.
