The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Trailer Shows Everything at Link’s Disposal in the Sequel Adventure

Nintendo Direct‘s recent presentation gave fans plenty to look forward to but as many fans were eager to see more of the Breath of the Wild sequel, Nintendo did not disappoint as they released a new The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trailer. Since it was announced in 2019, fans have been eager to get their hands on the highly-anticipated sequel and after being pushed out of a 2022 release window, we now know that Link will glide again in May 2023!

In the highly-anticipated sequel, players will take to the surface of Hyrule. As players explore the version they traversed in Breath of the Wild, and also floating islands in the sky that players will make their way through. The trailer features Link traveling between the locations.

The new trailer gave us more insight into the story of the sequel but most impressively was the landscape and tools players will have at their disposal. Breath of the Wild was undoubtedly a beautiful game, and with Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo did the right thing by not doing too much visually but the gameplay upgrades, including rail gliding, homing arrows, vehicles, and a hoverboard?! That will surely give new life to the game and with new tools, come new puzzles, so get those thinking caps ready geeks!

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch on May 12th, 2023.
