The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: Breath of the Wild Sequel Gets Release Date and Official Title
The Breath of the Wild sequel has gotten an official title reveal and will be officially called The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The game also got a 2023 release date announced during today’s Nintendo Direct presentation. Since it was announced in 2019, fans have been eager for more information and more importantly when the title would be released after being pushed out of its anticipated 2022 release date.
In the highly-anticipated sequel, players will take to the surface of Hyrule. As players explore the version they traversed in Breath of the Wild, and also floating islands in the sky that players will make their way through. The trailer features Link traveling between the locations.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch on May 12th, 2023.
