The Warrior Queen Brings Celtic Fantasy Metal in Upcoming Album The Glory and the Fallen

Leah is set to release her sixth album, The Glory and the Fallen this February and is poised to mark a new evolution for the renowned singer-songwriter.

Introducing fresh challenges and venturing into new territories in the songwriting phase, this album not only promises to be her most epic and groundbreaking project yet but also represents a monumental soundscape inspired by fantasy, history, and personal journey.

Known for her “Celtic fantasy metal” sound, Leah, often referred to as “the metal Enya,” captivates her audience with a unique blend of ethereal femininity and controlled power.

Seemingly offering “chillout music for metalheads,” her music encompasses ethereal ballads, folk tales, mysterious world instrumentation, and operatic blast beats. Amidst the sea of female-fronted rock, Leah’s voice truly stands out as a breath of fresh air. and embodies the archetype of the “warrior queen” to thousands of dedicated listeners around the world.

Her discography, comprised of six releases, showcases a symphonic metal style interwoven with Celtic, folk, and fantasy elements, with her emotive vocals often drawing comparisons to Loreena McKennitt, Tori Amos, and Sarah McLachlan.

The Glory and the Fallen, set to release on February 16th, is a much-anticipated and crowdfunded endeavor that features a stellar lineup of renowned musicians, including Mark Jansen (Epica, MaYaN), Timo Somers (Arjen Lucassen, Ex Delain), and Sander Zoer (Delain), with production by Oliver Philipps (Everon, Phantasma) and stunning artwork created by Giannis Nakos (Kamelot, Evergrey, Amaranthe).
