The Geek Collective and Badass Girl Team Blaze into Phoenix Fan Fusion

It’s our unofficial holiday weekend here on the West Coast as Phoenix Fan Fusion holds its yearly convention celebrating pop culture and all its fandoms. With plenty of creators and talents gathering to celebrate under one roof starting today until June 4th.

Our friends from The Geek Collective and the Badass Girl team will be tabling at the convention with some very limited quantities of the Badass Girl paperback graphic novel and BCU‘s Remember which is The Geek Collective’s first collaboration with the team bringing you Black Cotton.

Badass Girl

Badass Girl: Saves the World is a graphic novel by writer Chris Everheart and artist Brann Garvey. The graphic novel follows the titular character as she traverses the dystopian and lawless land that sees the good people left in the remnants of the past world needing protection from those using force to take advantage of those who cannot protect themselves.

The Badass Girl graphic novel will be limited to 25 copies during Phoenix Fan Fusion.

BCU presents “Remember”

Remember comes from creator Patrick D. Foreman and was written by Damien Casiano, with art by Marcelo Santana Jr, letters by Francisco Zamora, designs by Joey Galvez, and edited by Brian Hawkins. The new story from the Black Cotton team follows two detectives who continue to be one step behind a murderer after a string of mysterious deaths only to discover one of them might just be connected to the crimes.

Remember will be coming to Kickstarter this summer but this will be your chance to get an Ashcan copy of the issue which will be available in limited quantities.

Phoenix Fan Fusion

The yearly convention was originally founded in 2002 as Phoenix Cactus Comicon and has brought together fans of all fandoms every year for over twenty years with an annual celebration that brings some of the biggest Hollywood stars, vendors, and creators to celebrate everything that we love.

The convention has only gotten bigger and more exciting every year and this year packs some of the biggest stars from the MCU, Star Wars, Star Trek, and many more popular franchises along with tons of events to enjoy some family-friendly time.
