The 69 Eyes Kick Off West End Tour in Mesa
The Helsinki Vampires kicked off their west-end tour in Mesa, Arizona on May 5th. The 69 Eyes rocked out with their fans at The Nile Theater. As soon as the band opened up with “Devils” the entire crowd started jumping and dancing. Singing the words back at the band. The band was just as energetic as the crowd. And of course, Jyrki69 had to ham it up and steal the show with his charismatic antics on stage.
This tour is to celebrate their new album “Death of Darkness” which was released on April 21st, 2023. If you haven’t been able to listen to it. I do highly recommend you check it out. You can find it on Spotify and Apple Music. This record is their 13th studio album.
This album starts off with the typical goth n roll sounds we all love and appreciate. But surprisingly goes back to the band’s original glam rock days which was truly refreshing to hear. Their first single released for this album was “Gotta Rock” which is a cover from the Finnish superstar rock band “Boycott.” Which is an absolute banger. The 69 eyes still have a few US cities to hit so this is the setlist you can expect at a city near you!

- Devils
- Feel Berlin
- Perfect Skin
- The Chair
- California
- Betty Blue
- Gothic Girl
- Death of Darkness
- Never Say Die
- Gotta Rock
- Two Horns Up
- Wasting the Dawn

- Brandon Lee
- Encore:
- Framed in Blood

With a stacked-up set list like this. I do highly suggest you catch ‘em live. They’re providing their fans with classics to some of their new hits so don’t miss out.

Hello everyone! Welcome to my bio. You may not recognize my face, but hopefully, you recognize my voice from Dead Rooster, or from some of my interviews. I have been a part of Geek Network since March of 2022. I’m so grateful to be part of the team.
In my spare time, I like to go on long walks with my dog Chewie, go to concerts, read comics, watch spoopy movies, and if time permits play some video games with the guys.
