Sweet Home Season 2 First Look Teaser Paints Bleak Picture for Humanity
The highly successful first season of the Korean monster series Sweet Home captivated audiences with its wild world of creatures threatening humanity’s survival. During Netflix‘s Geeked Week, a Sweet Home Season 2 first-look teaser trailer was unveiled, and it paints a bleak picture for humankind.
The series explores a world where human desires transform into monstrosities. The Green Home survivors and Hyun-su, the main character played by Song Kang, continue their fight for survival in new locations. However, they now face additional challenges as new beings and mysterious phenomena emerge. This Netflix series weaves a narrative of evolving desires and struggles.

In the upcoming season, the main characters depart from the Green Home and venture into the outside world, leaving behind the site of their previous monster battles. They find refuge in a community established at the remnants of a stadium. However, their sense of security remains fragile as they navigate through new dangers. The storyline promises heightened anticipation as the characters confront external monsters and battle their own inner monstrous desires.
Song Kang returns as Hyun-su, Season 2 and the second season will also feature an ensemble cast including Lee Jin-wuk, Lee Si-young, Ko Min-si, Jung Jin-young, Yoo Oh-seong, Oh Jung-se, Kim Moo-yeol, and Park Gyu-young. Directed by Lee Eung-bok (known for Descendants of the Sun) and Park So-hyeon, Sweet Home is an adaptation of the original Webtoon created by Kim Kan-bi and Hwang Young-chan.

Actor Lee Jin-uk, who plays a significant role in the series, teased that Season 2 will present a world that diverges from the original webtoon. As the narrative expands, viewers can expect elements that may not necessarily have been explored in the webtoon.
Prepare for the horrors that await in Sweet Home Season 2 when it premieres on Netflix on December 1, 2023. Check out the teaser below:
