Survival Street #4: The A-B-C Team May Be Facing Permanent Cancellation As they Are Declared Public Enemy Number One
Dark Horse Comics has shared a special preview of the upcoming Survival Street #4. The fourth issue in the hit series sees the A-B-C Team declared public enemies by the New Best America and as the team still looks to recover from the loss of one of their own, the team may just be headed to their end. The series comes from writers James Asmus and Jim Festante with art by Abylay Kussainov, colors by Ellie Wright, letters by Taylor Esposito, and a main cover by series artist Kussainov.
The full description of Survival Street #4 reads:
“Corporate Interests of New Best America declare the A-B-C-Team PUBLIC ENEMIES number ONE! TWO! THREE! On the run, and reeling from the SHOCKING LOSS of one of their own–the furry f(r)iends are hunted back to their “happy place.” Is this their exciting SEASON FINALE? Or PERMANENT CANCELATION?
A candy coating of pop culture madness, humor, cartoonishly absurd hyper-violence, and just enough hope to keep holding on”
The Sesame Street parody series has delved into the hectic state of reality that has corporations turning the wheels of the world including our own government. In our review of Survival Street #3, reviewer Caleb Braxton notes that the series gives a punk rock essence with the “brutalist dystopia left me with unease at how easily some of these events could play out given the current state of the world.”
Survival Street #4 will be available at your favorite local comic shop and digitally on November 2, 2022.
