Oni Press has announced SP20, a special initiative commemorating 20 years of Bryan Lee O’Malley‘s beloved SCOTT PILGRIM series. This announcement adds to the news which has had SCOTT PILGRIM in the headlines as of late which includes the reveal of SCOTT PILGRIM TAKES OFF!, an upcoming Netflix anime series co-written and produced by O’Malley, set to premiere on November 17th.

Creator Bryan Lee O’Malley shared his enthusiasm about revisiting Scott Pilgrim’s world in an animated series and expressed gratitude to the fans for their enduring support. O’Malley aims to deliver the finest editions of Scott Pilgrim for the series’ 20th anniversary.

SP20 will span 2024 and will feature a range of all-new and newly remastered items. The highlight of this celebration will be two meticulously crafted, ultra-premium box set collections. One box set will be a stunning color edition, while the other will present the series in newly remastered black and white, preserving its original artistic vision in hardcover format for the first time.

From its debut in 2004 with Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life, O’Malley’s SCOTT PILGRIM series has left an indelible mark on the world of graphic literature. With its Eisner Award-winning and New York Times best-selling status, this series has solidified its position as one of the most influential works in the comic book industry.

The story revolves around Scott Pilgrim, a 19-year-old from Toronto, whose life takes an extraordinary turn when he meets the girl of his dreams, Ramona Flowers.
