Dark Horse Comics to Release Slightly Exaggerated Trade Paperback
Dark Horse Comics has announced the upcoming release of a trade paperback edition of Slightly Exaggerated. Initially available on Kickstarter, this collected edition will collect issues #1 through #4 of the series, created by writer Curtis Clow (Beastlands: Keepers of the Kingdom, Wild Cosmos), artist Pius Bak (Skull and Bones, Stranger Things), colorists Roman Titov (Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams) and Eva De La Cruz (Steam), and letterer Toben Racicot (Beastlands: Keepers of the Kingdom).

The story follows a dying treasure hunter’s quest to reclaim a sacred artifact from a crazed cult leader to restore order before succumbing to her illness. Set in a fantasy world where religion serves as the law, the narrative unfolds in a land teeming with sky-whales and airships.
Mia and her companion Winston find themselves embroiled in a perilous scheme, with factions vying for control of three sacred relics capable of bestowing godlike power upon their possessor. As a terminally ill adventurer racing against time, Mia is willing to make any sacrifice to save her friends.
Fans of high-stakes fantasy adventures will not want to miss out on this action-packed tale that brings to life a fully fleshed-out world crafted by the creators that offers us insight into the universe and characters of Slightly Exaggerated while still keeping a mysterious element tucked away to create an allure to the already engaging treasure hunt fantasy adventure.

Slightly Exaggerated is set to be available everywhere books are sold on July 9, 2024, followed by its release at your favorite local comic shops on July 10, 2024.
